MECON Ltd. (MECON) was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 as Metallurgical and Engineering Consultants with the object of providing design and consultancy work for the Iron and
Steel Industries in India. MECON is also presently undertaking project and construction management work including turn-key projects. It has undertaken diversification in Oil & Gas, Power Generation and distribution and infrastructure development. MECON is a Schedule ‘A’ / Mini-ratna CPSE in Industrial Development and Technical Consultancy Services sector with the
administrative jurisdiction of Ministry of Steel. The Company employed 1066 regular employees (Executives 958 & Non-Executives 108) as on 31.03.2023. Its Registered and Corporate Offices are at Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Scale of the post: Rs. 200000 – 370000 (IDA
AGE : On the date of occurrence of vacancy (DOV) 45 Years, Maximum 3 years residual service as on the date of vacancy w.r.t. the date of superannuation
Qualification: The applicant should be an Engineering Graduate/ Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant/Post Graduate/Graduate with MBA/ PGDM from a leading institute.
Experience:
The applicant should possess cumulative experience/ exposure for at least 5 years during the last 10 years in Finance/ Business Development/ Production/ Operations/ Marketing/ Project
Management in a large organization of repute. Experience in Contract & Construction and Engineering/ Tech consultancy Services in the steel sector is desirable.
