One vacancy for the post of Assistant Architect in Central Public Works Department, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (OBC-01).
The post is permanent. General Central Service Group- “B” Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Pay Scale: Level 08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Age: 33** years.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATIONAL: Degree in Architecture from a recognized University or Institution and registered with Council of Architecture as Architect.
NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
DUTIES: To assist the Senior Officers in preparation of design data collection, preparing documents for obtaining approval of plans from all concerned etc. To prepare Preliminary, working and detailed drawing and layout plans, municipal drawings and their presentations as required. To supervise and guide juniors and check their drawings and specifications. Responsible for management and efficient functioning of the staff attached to them.
HQ: Directorate General, Central Public Works Department, New Delhi with liability to serve anywhere in India.
